Dispute Resolution
A disagreement between parties can often lead to protracted legal battles and litigation. With the appropriate drafting of your contracts and adequate protection of your IP, the chances of a dispute arising are minimised. Differences of opinion, however, do still occur. My method is to use my negotiation and strategic skills to diffuse and solve any potential disputes via pre-ligiation correpondence, using official litigation as the last resort.
I have led over 450 disputes of varying values and arrived at successful pre-litigation negotiated settlements amounting in a sum of c. £600,000 for the Claimant. This has afforded me an in-depth insight into pre-litigation negotiation and different modes of settlement. I have also represented potential defendants to an action and saved them in excess of £300,000.
